Job Summary:

TESS is an industry leader servicing the Mega Yacht Industry. We are seeking skilled Automation Technicians to repair, maintain, and support computer-controlled systems used within the marine industry to reduce human intervention and maximize operational efficiency. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position offering a flexible schedule, health benefits, and paid vacation time.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• • Design, install, and support electrical control and automation systems.
• • Program and configure programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
• • Troubleshoot electrical and control issues in automated systems.
• • Maintain and repair electrical equipment used in marine automation systems.
• • Conduct electrical safety inspections and ensure compliance with applicable standards.
• • Support automation upgrades and system improvements as needed.
• • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management.

• • Ability to lift 15 pounds as needed.

Compensation: $38–$45/hr + Overtime + Performance Bonus + Travel Pay

The Opportunity

We are seeking 1–2 high-level Field Lead Technicians who can take ownership of diagnostics in the field, support Technical Managers, and lead small teams on-site. This is not a management role. This is a hands-on technical leadership role focused on solving real problems.

What You Will Do

• • Lead troubleshooting and diagnostics on AC/DC systems, shore power, generators, and automation systems

We are seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Marine Sales Representative to grow our customer base and develop new revenue opportunities across the marine and yachting industry.

Position Summary

The Marine Sales Representative is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building customer relationships, and supporting revenue growth across TESS’s marine electrical, automation, and engineering service lines. This is a field-based, hunter-mentality role. The successful candidate will open doors, qualify opportunities, and engage the right internal technical resources to close. Marine industry experience is preferred but not required — the right attitude, energy, and commercial instincts matter most.

Key Responsibilities

• • Identify, pursue, and develop new business opportunities within the marine and yachting industry.
• • Build and maintain relationships with captains, chief engineers, yacht managers, shipyard managers, and key decision-makers.
• • MConduct vessel visits, shipyard walk-throughs, and customer meetings to understand project scope and customer needs.
• • Coordinate with Engineering, Automation, and Service teams to develop solutions and support quoting and proposal preparation.
• • Maintain an active pipeline using CRM tools and provide accurate opportunity forecasts and reporting to management.
• • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote TESS and generate new opportunities.
• • Monitor market trends, vessel refit schedules, and competitor activity to identify new opportunities and emerging markets.
• • Represent TESS professionally at all times and uphold the company’s reputation for quality and integrity.

• • 3+ years of B2B sales or business development experience.

We are seeking an experienced Service & Technical Manager to lead service operations, provide technical leadership, support customer satisfaction, and drive operational performance throughout our marine service organization.

Position Summary

The Service & Technical Manager is responsible for overseeing service operations, supervising technical personnel, supporting customer satisfaction, and ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, profitably, and in accordance with company standards.
This is not an administrative management position. The successful candidate must be capable of independently troubleshooting, scoping, estimating, planning, and supporting the execution of complex marine electrical and automation projects while leading technical personnel and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• • Lead and manage daily service operations and field personnel.
• • Supervise Marine Electrical Service Technicians, Automation Technicians, and technical support staff.
• • Independently scope, estimate, schedule, and support execution of marine electrical and automation projects.
